PARADE was born from my desire to create a warm and welcoming eyewear boutique in which well-being is felt. A place where it’s enjoyable to choose glasses, take an eye exam and work, where the team is passionate and dedicated to offering you a most pleasant experience.

The optician-optometrist collaboration is at the heart of our approach in order to offer you the most complete eye care using state-of-the-art equipment.

My beginnings in the industry date back to 2007, when I started working as an assistant and receptionist. I then realized that I wanted to become an optician. It’s a profession that combines what has always fascinated me: science, health and fashion.

As soon as I graduated in 2013, my desire to deepen my knowledge led me to register for a Bachelor of Technical Education in order to be able to teach future opticians. 

Already wanting to put my education into practice, I applied to the School of Optometry at the University of Montreal. Within a team of experienced opticians, optometrists and teachers, I worked there for 7 years as a clinical optician supervising, supporting and evaluating doctoral students in optometry. There, a high volume of clients and patients with atypical prescriptions are part of everyday life. I therefore developed an expertise and an ability to solve complex problems that are beneficial to my profession, both as an optician and as an entrepreneur. These years spent in this most rewarding practice not only allowed me to surpass myself but also made my passion for optics and humans grow.
